The Financial Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the financial management of the institution by

providing analysis and insights. This entry-level position is designed for a new college graduate who is

eager to learn and contribute to our finance team. The successful candidate will be a motivated

individual with the ability to work collaboratively within the Finance organization and across various

departments.

Detailed Description:
Assist in the expansion of our treasury and endowment management function, including tracking, reporting and optimizing the investments of our operating cash and restricted endowment funds
Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and the explanation of actual results
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and development of accurate institutional forecasts in collaboration with the Operations Finance team
Help in the development and automation of monthly financial performance presentations

Engage in regular communication with various departments (e.g., TGen Foundation, Research Operations, Business Development) to stay informed about new projects and revisions to existing ones.

Participate in the creation of financial models and analyses under supervision to support decision-making processes.
Contribute to complex assignments/projects as part of a team.
Learn to use planning and financial software tools (e.g., EPBCS/Hyperion, Smartview, Oracle, Orbitz)
Perform additional duties as needed to support the finance team.
