    The owner is the leading sales person and needs to train a protege who will surpass present performance by improving lead generation and lead conversion to drive the business development to a new level of growth and scale. The new sales lead needs to drive outreach from door to door to local chambers of commerce. Inbound leads need to be increased by all means from improved social media, mailers and SEO. A successful candidate may also be interested in the long term role as General Manager and equity partner.

    Business Development and Customer Experience Job Description

    • Naturally, this job require hard-work and a positive personality that can deal with a variety of tasks, environments and challenges from day-to-day including working between field to shop to office activities with both customers, teammates and community members. Some days will be spent in the shop, at local events, in the vehicle traveling to assessments and at the homes and businesses of customers. Other days will be working with marketing teams or other local business partners.
    • Sales: Be the #1 Sales person Screen inbound lead calls and emails to qualify and set onsite assessments as well as sales over the phone. This area of the position will have an incentive/commission tied into the compensation after the introductory period. Support the development and management of advertising including social media, direct mail and other forms of advertising.
    • Scheduling: When new jobs are sold, coordinate with the shop and then with customer to connect key information related to initial scheduling for work, schedule changes, appointment notifications, followup and management of open issues to ensure top-notch customer communication. This also may include support in coordinating with other local partners outsourced for supplies, materials and services. sMake changes for any scheduling improvements that could minimize downtime and optimize production and revenue based on constraints. Help dispatch crews to work from the shop and from the field as required.
    • Other: The shop team will manage primary responsibilities for tracking and ordering needed supplies, but this role may also support procurement from time to time.

    Requirements

    • Professional appearance (i.e. tucked in shirt, belt, groomed)
    • Listening and rapport building
    • Comfortable in a dirty shop, hot days, fancy homes - all in the same day
    • Previous sales or customer service experience (technical or home services experience required)
    • Proven record of tracking & achieving sales goals and associated practices to implement
    • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset to create new opportunities without direction
    • Ability to travel frequently within the Central Florida territory, when required (no overnight requirements)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency with technology and problem-solving skills (a degree in marketing is a plus)

    Compensation & Benefits

    • The position offers a competitive base salary with a commission structure. Vehicle usage costs are negotiable.
