- Develop system architectures and conduct analysis, design, simulation, fabrication, integration, and testing for RF and EW systems
- Analyze customer requirements and constraints
- Lead design teams throughout the development cycle, including concept development and RF system design
- Design complex communication and navigation systems and challenging electrically small antennas
- Communicate progress with internal and external stakeholders and customers
- Conceptualize and conduct of innovative R&D to grow company-wide technical capabilities
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a closely related field with 7+ years of relevant experience
- An exceptional academic record or industry experience and demonstrated laboratory competence in electromagnetics and antenna design, analysis, simulation, testing and debugging
- Strong background in EE fundamentals of electromagnetics, antenna theory, communication theory, software defined radio, circuit theory
- Experience with some or all of the following tools: HFSS, CST, Microwave Office, ADS FEKO, COMSOL, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, Mentor Graphics (or equivalent PCB design tool)
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Must be highly self-motivated and must thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Ability and willingness to support and lead business development, write proposals, white papers, and technical documents
- Ability to deliver technical presentations to internal groups and external sponsors
- Ability and interest in mentoring students and junior engineers

We are seeking an experienced electromagnetic design engineer to lead efforts in system conceptualization, design, and deployment for our customersThe candidate will serve as a key technical team contributor and leader, providing direction to high-caliber engineering teams
The ideal candidate is expected to be a subject matter expert in the design and development of advanced antennas and RF systems for communications, navigation, and sensor applications
The candidate should have experience in the design of novel antennas including simulation, prototyping, and testing
Additionally, experience in the design of RF transceivers including waveform analysis, component selection, circuit design and troubleshooting is highly desired
