    Job Description:

    We are looking for a Senior Technical Accounting Manager to join our pretty special accounting team The ideal candidate is someone that has strong knowledge and experience in applying and interpreting technical accounting, reporting and disclosure requirements, exceptional organizational and writing skills, and has a high level of attention to detail.

    This role will support the Corporate Controller in all areas of technical accounting, special projects, and assisting with monthly close processes and other critical aspects of the accounting function.


    What you'll do:
    Accounting for complex transactions, including business combinations, leases, revenue recognition, debt arrangements, and review of new accounting standardsMaintaining updated accounting policies and serve as a technical resource for the accounting teamAssisting with research and preparation of accounting policy and position memosContributing to preparation of financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and all disclosure and reporting requirementsPerforming month-end closing procedures including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers and GL account reconciliationsAssisting with the implementation of new financial systemsHelping with financial statement audit requirementsConducting ad hoc financial/operational analysis as requiredAssisting with special finance and accounting projectsExperience you'll bring:CPA licenseMaster's degree in accountingThree to five years of relevant accounting experience; some public accounting experience requiredStrong understanding of US GAAPUnderstanding of revenue recognition guidance as prescribed under ASC 606 and lease accounting guidance as prescribed under ASC 842Advanced knowledge of ExcelExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)

    Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical abilitiesAttention to detail and good time management skillsRequirements:
    Requires a minimum of 8 years of related or equivalent experience; or 6+ years with an advanced degree
