Leadership and Coordination in Patient Care

As a leader in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives.

You will assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, contributing to their performance evaluations.

Your daily tasks will include assessing patient care needs, developing patient care assignments, and collaborating with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes.

You will also evaluate the effectiveness of patient care, identify issues affecting desired outcomes, and respond to complaints about patient care.

In this role, you will work closely with the team to provide high-quality care and contribute to a positive work environment.

You will possess strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively delegate tasks and collaborate with others.

A minimum of one year of registered nurse experience, preferably in the ED, is required for this position.

You must have a Missouri state-issued license and hold Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
