- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensation of medications and related supplies, according to physicians' prescriptions.
- Complete Prior authorizations
- Process Pharmacy claims
- Coordinate medication dispensing and shipping
- Medication ordering, labeling, and ensuring proper verification
- Review treatment plans and prepare infusion medications for oncology patients in an aseptic environment.
- Maintain rigorous adherence to safety protocols and standards, including hygiene and aseptic techniques.
- Manage medication inventory, including ordering and receiving stock, checking expiration dates, and ensuring proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Use pharmacy information systems to maintain accurate patient records and validate billing and reimbursement.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that patient care is both effective and empathetic.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to remain current with the latest developments in oncology pharmacy practices and technologies.
- Monday - Friday: 9:00am-5:00pm
- 8 week contract to hire
- At least2 years of specialty pharmacy experiencerequired.
