Job summary
We invite you to consider an exciting opportunity with the University of Southern Maine School of Nursing as their Learning Space Specialist/Simulation Technician at our Learning Resources and Simulation Center.The position provides support services in the preparation, operation, and maintenance of the Center's equipment and simulation spaces and skills labs for simulation/skills-based learning experiences.
This position is full-time working 8:00AM – 4:30PM Monday – Friday although this position is based on our Portland Campus frequent time may be spent on our Lewiston Campus as well.
The successful candidate will be well-organized and possess excellent written phone verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or vocational technical school degree in a health-related field required or equivalent combination of education experience.
- Strong technology skills ability to learn new technologies.
- Physical ability to lift move maintain set up computer audiovisual simulation lab equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
