    Hourly Rate:
    $ $21.00 (depending on experience)Essential Functions Statement(s) All Material Handlers Operates a lift truck by driving backward and twisting to be able to look in the direction of travel continually.
    Operates a lift truck on all shifts.

    Performs routine inspections on vehicles and auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning or recharging batteries, and refers defects or repairs to supervisor/maintenance.

    Moves controls to drive battery-powered lift trucks and transport materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas.

    Moves levers and controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams and swivel-hooks, hoists, and elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material.

    Positions lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, and boxes, and secures material or products for transport to designated areas.

    Manually loads or unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
    Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.
    Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
    Performs all other duties as assigned or neededUnloader
    • Unloads products from inbound carriers.
    Verifies that the product received is identified and counted accurately.
    Inspects the condition of all received products.
    Moves and places products safely and securely in their proper storage location.
    Preloader
    • Receives and reads preload orders.
    Fills orders by accurately picking products from storage and staging that product on the spot utilizing stacking guidelines.

    Inspects and loads trucks and arranges the products within the cube of the trailer according to recommended loading practices and guidelines.

    Uses scanning devices and computers as needed to perform tasks.
    Truck Loaders
    • Inspects trailers before loading products.
    Counts units on preload spot and compares with shipping documents.
    Moves products from the preload spot, and directly from storage when required, into the trailer.
    Arrange the products within the cube of the trailer according to recommended loading practices and guidelines.
    Properly secures the load for travel.

    • Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as receivers, invoices, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and write simple sentences.

    SKILLS & ABILITIESEducation:
    High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferredExperience: Two (2) years related experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred

    Computer Skills:
    Basic computer or tablet skills; hand-held radio

    Certificates & Licenses:
    Forklift Certification preferred. Valid Driver's License.
