    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming patients, registering them according to established protocols, and ensuring accurate information is entered into the electronic medical record.

    Duties and Essential Job Functions

    • Welcome and greet all patients and visitors
    • Register patients according to established protocols
    • Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation
    • E nsure patient information is accurate in the electronic medical record
    • Inform patients of office policies and procedures
    • Collect co-pays and payments
    • Maintain a well-organized reception area
    • F acilitate patient flow by notifying clinical staff of arrival and delays
    • Answer phone calls with proper etiquette and transfer as needed
    • Ensure front desk supplies are adequate and order when necessary
    • Scan documents into patient's electronic medical record
    • Prepare patient packets and reconcile schedules
    • Protect patient confidentiality

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent (College education preferred)
    • 2 years of healthcare experience preferred
    • Knowledge of medical terminology
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
    • Outstanding customer service skills
    • Experience with high patient volume
    • Professional etiquette and ability to communicate clearly
    • Ability to exercise tact under pressure
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Strong attention to detail
