    Description

    EQUIPPS, a subsidiary of Hourigan, is the go-to prime rental equipment firm when it comes to supporting Hourigan jobsites.

    We have an opening for a Summer Warehouse Laborer to assist our warehouse team. The Summer Warehouse Laborer will help support various initiatives along with assisting the Warehouse Manager and Logistics Manager in organization, cleaning, and equipment management.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage equipment inventory
    • Keep equipment clean, organized, and well maintained in preparation for rental
    • Maintain inventory records to track the location of all inventory items
    • Assist in the coordination of equipment delivery to fulfill customer orders within 48 hours
    • Prepare orders for delivery
    • Document all issues and relay information to the manager.
    • Communicate with customers to set delivery and removal times
    • Organize stock and equipment within the warehouse
    • Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received
    • Monitor, report and document any missing, lost, or damaged inventory to management
    • Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped
    Qualifications and Experience:
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods and work primarily standing
    • Knowledge of OSHA and other regulations applicable to warehouse and distribution operations
    • Willingness to learn and assist the team with various tasks.
    • Applies a customer-centric mindset to all work efforts.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
    • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with varying groups internally and externally.
    • Can problem-solve and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
    • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Highly organized, excellent time management, and a self-starter
    • Fosters a strong desire to learn, welcomes a new challenge, and values the need to collaborate with all team members.
