    This is a 13-week contract position.

    Schedule


    Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including weekdays and some weekends.

    Job Description


    We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) with experience in PICU and ER settings. The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care to patients in critical and general care, including both adults and pediatrics. The role involves working closely with a small team of therapists during night shifts, handling a variety of respiratory therapy procedures and assessments.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and provide respiratory care in pediatric and adult critical care settings.
    • Perform intubations, extubations, and assist in emergency procedures.
    • Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and treatment effectiveness.
    • Administer medications and treatment as prescribed.
    • Float between PICU and ER based on facility needs.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in critical care.
    • Certification in ACLS, PALS, NALS (for pediatrics), and BLS from the American Heart Association.
    • Current and valid state license or pending license accepted.
    • Experience with charting systems, preferably Cerner, is preferred.
