Job summary
This role involves providing supply chain and logistics support for products by managing inbound and outbound transportation for domestic and international customers/suppliers executing production planning coordinating activities with contract manufacturers/co-packers preparing monitoring contracts in conjunction with sales team facilitate timely accurate account/orders management build strong customer relationships monitor track pending orders mitigate customer complaints review contracts/orders for completeness accuracy collaborate with sales on contract releases generate shipment releases labeling communicate overseas suppliers/shared services team review/approve sailing schedule draft labels commercial invoices B/L coordinate bookings file set-up maintain related files update shipment release backlog IFS data gather determine substitutions/date changes required order fulfillment projected shortages planned production scheduled transfers/aging inventory manage organize documentation requirements compliance mandates per customer/government regulations perform daily activities invoicing/billing functions assist tracking follow-up action invoices A/R provide invoice management assistance resolve short/over payments claims communicate issue root cause resolution internal external customers timely manner manage returns damage claims complaints assign action items personnel ensure approval obtained participate team initiatives continuous improvement occasional special projects assigned by management.Job description
