We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Forensic Engineer for our client's team in Atlanta, GA.Job Overview
As an Electrical Engineer, your main responsibilities will involve conducting and overseeing investigations and assessments related to machinery and equipment.
This includes examining and evaluating mechanical equipment, systems, and components, performing root cause failure analysis, evaluating mechanical, corrosion, and metallurgical properties, and analyzing repair and replacement costs for damaged facilities and equipment.
In addition, you will collaborate with clients and other consultants, manage multiple projects, and prepare detailed written reports summarizing your findings.
Required QualificationsMust hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Georgia
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Forensic Investigation and Reporting
Experience with legal depositions and Expert Witness testimony is highly desirable
Advanced Technical Education degrees are a plus
Proficiency in computer software such as MathCAD, AutoCAD, and MS Office
Prior experience in industrial/manufacturing/design settings is preferred
