$1B+ AUM Hedge FundRole : Senior Finance AssociateLocation : Greenwich, CT - 3-4 days in office, 1-2 days remoteCompensation : $110k - $130k base plus 15% - 30% bonusWe are seeking to hire a dynamic and experienced finance professional to join its finance team, currently comprised of its Chief Financial Officer and Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to learn and operate in an entrepreneurial environment while gaining access to a wide variety of the firms finance & operations functions.


Primarily responsibilities will include:
Assist with all aspects of fund accounting, reporting, valuation, and operations.
Assist in preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly internal reporting to senior management.

Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation, including compilation of financial statements and footnotes, recalculating and reviewing prepared tax documents, and ensuring all aspects are completed within preset timelines.

Assist in review of month-end external performance reporting & net asset value calculations.

Monthly & quarterly fund closings including partner income allocations, fee calculations, portfolio reconciliations, dividend reconciliations and interaction with outside administrator to reconcile books.

Work with outsourced operations teams to process portfolio activity across all funds.
Work closely with Portfolio Managers on credit-related events.
Perform ad-hoc projects and requestsAssist in preparation of regulatory filings.
Participate in and contribute to initiatives related to process improvement.


Requirements:
3-6 years of finance & accounting experience in the investment management / fund industryCPA License or parts passed is strongly desiredID# 36863#J-18808-Ljbffr
