    Summary of Position


    The Systems Administrator II is responsible for on-site administration of Government computers and network Information Technology (IT) systems to include associated IT equipment required to perform services on the Military Skills Enhancement contract i.e., the Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN).

    Minimum Required Education

    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT) equivalent experience with at least one of the current IT certifications: Cisco Certified Network

    Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Microsoft Certified Engineer (MSCE),


    Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (MSCA) and all of the specified Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Network+, Security+ and Server + certifications and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Examination.

    Minimum Required Experience

    Four (4) years of progressive experience in computer system maintenance, associated IT equipment operations.

    Graduated from an accredited institution of higher education is required or educational qualifications may be substituted at a rate of one-year course of study in computer science versus nine months of experience with Information Technology (IT) certifications.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
    Demonstrated knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) technology for government or commercial networks to include IT.

    Ability to recognize, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues; to analyze systems and procedures; to use network management, administration, and other system administration tools; and to communicate effectively.

    Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
    Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information.

    Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in the use of: Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office computer programs to include Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.

    Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in the application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications.

    Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications.

    Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in the design, documentation, testing, creation or modification of computer programs related to machine operating systems.

    Salary
    $79,996.80; Start date will be upon contract award.

    Full-time, indicate working hours - M-F 8am - 5pm
