Senior Supply Chain Readiness lead

to join our highly skilled and dynamic

Programme Purchasing Team.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Warwick or Bicester, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most talented minds in the automotive field.

What's the opportunity:

Reporting to the Programme Purchasing Manager, you will drive and manage our sourcing plan across the vehicle programme to ensure all commodities follow the sourcing process and ensure purchasing programme standards are met.

What you will do:

Drive and guide the Purchasing Function to ensure successful contract delivery across Suppliers and support a successful manufacturing ramp up to Programme launch.

Drive and support critical workstreams, understand key issues and provide solutions to mitigate supply chain risks to ensure successful programme delivery
Responsible for reporting metrics, KPIs and status in key management reviews and maintaining their accuracy
Manage and coordinate cross functional stakeholders including Engineering and Manufacturing partners
Implement and influence Business change management processes
Develop cross-functional business relationships from Product Development, Supplier Quality, through to Cost Engineering
Support in driving continuous improvement across the Business


Who you are:
Degree in Business or Supply Chain or equivalent experience (desirable)
Excellent experience in Direct purchasing/Programme purchasing
Experience of creating reports and key metrics
Project management and stakeholder management skills
Experience of working within the automotive sector (desirable)
Great influencing and communications skills
Analytical and methodical approach and mindset
