    Reporting to the Director, Global Supply Chain Planning - BDB, this position is responsible for owning the WW Sales, Inventory & Operations (SIOP) process and Global Demand Planning process for BD Biosciences, Identifies, develops, and implements best practice to drive these business processes to mature levels. Identifies, develops, and assists with the implementation of Global Supply Chain optimization. Has direct responsibility to ensure the alignment of WW business financial performance and goals with operating plans and strategic direction.

    Responsibilities:

    • Owns the WW SIOP and Global Demand Planning process for BD Biosciences
    • Responsible for Demand Review, Supply Review, and Integrated Reconciliation
    • Responsible for the execution and facilitation of the WW SIOP process including the Executive Management Business Review.
    • Responsible for coordinating global demand and understanding demand changes from the regions and their resulting impact.
    • Coordinates the annual long-term planning (LTP) calendar with Finance and Regions.
    • Facilitates the long-term capacity planning process with Operations.
    • The process has direct ownership to ensure risks and opportunities across the regions and functions are raised to appropriate levels within the SIOP tiered process up to and including the WW BDB Team and WW BDB President through the Executive SIOP processes.
    • Ensures a robust measurable short- and long-term global demand process is utilized driving consensus amongst Regions, Sales/Marketing, Platforms, Finance, and Operations that is utilized to project and monitor business financial performance and operating plans. This includes budgeting, financial forecasting, inventory management, capacity planning, and sourcing.
    • Identifies and implements best practice Demand Management processes worldwide leveraging SAP/SCM as an enterprise tool and through a robust SIOP process. Analyzes, challenges, and drives consensus of worldwide BDB demand forecasts, driving forecast accuracy improvement.
    • Drives SIOP and Demand Management process improvement to ensure financial alignment with supply and demand plans, long term capacity planning, new product introduction and tender business opportunities, and product end-of-life.
    • Drives overall Operations/Supply Chain process optimization by identifying and implementing best practice to improve both internal and external Supply Chain service and efficiency metrics (forecast accuracy, days inventory on-hand, backorder and OTIF).
    • Key contributor to Supply Chain strategy development and execution.
    • Drive associate engagement through rewards and recognition programs.
    • Other responsibilities as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • BS Supply Chain, Business Management, Finance, Engineering; MBA and / or advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum 10 years business experience; Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning, Demand and Supply Planning, and Manufacturing Operations experience preferred
    • Minumum 3 years of management experience
    • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, strong communication, both written and oral, and a high degree of business acumen.
    • Strong Analytical skills as well as the use of tools, such as Excel.
    • Proficiency in End-2-End Supply Chain Processes.

Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles.
