    IT Service Technician

    ~ 8:00 - 4:30 pm

    ~ Accrued PTO

    ~ Paid Holidays

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs PC computer and laptop repair, imaging, and deployment services within the amount of time specified by the contract with the client
    • Ensures customer satisfaction by responding to Service Requests in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
    • Follows up with customers with call or service request status when status changes (e.g. will be delayed).
    • Logs all customer requests and updates calls utilizing the designated call handling and tracking system.
    • Initiates escalation as deemed appropriate to ensure management awareness of severe problems or calls that are exceeding documented target resolution times.
    • Dispatched onsite support for deployment services.
    • Knowledge of all Customer standard products as defined per engagement.
    • Travels as needed between client locations to transport equipment and to perform PC repair, imaging, and deployment services using a personal vehicle.
    • Additional tasks as deemed necessary by manager to meet business requirements.

    Desired skills and abilities

    • 2 years experience in customer relations
    • Minimum 2 years experience in Troubleshooting and Repair.
    • PC Hardware repair knowledge/experience
    • Experience using Excel is required
    • IT Industry knowledge and Troubleshooting/resolution skills.
    • Solid interpersonal and communications skills.
    • Ability to work within a team structure and take part in mentoring processes.
    • Excellent verbal and writing abilities.
    • Strong organization and documentation skills
    • Flexible with ability to adapt to a fast past working environment
    • Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance are required.
    • DOE clearance capable
    • Ability to perform frequent and heavy lifting.
    • Knowledge / Training and Certifications:
    • A+ Certification or in the process of obtaining
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT, and Windows 10
    • Multi-Platform PCs including Dell, Apple, and Lenovo
    • High school diploma/GED required; college degree preferred.
