    Description
    Position Summary Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager providing support to AFLCMC/HNC a one-of-a-kind Air Force activity which provides life cycle management for information assurance and other critical systems
    The division's primary mission is cyberspace support
    AFLCMC/HNC is responsible for technology development, acquisition, sustainment, and demilitarization of cyber security systems or products that provide mission assurance by ensuring warfighter access to the information systems and its products, while denying adversaries access to the same
    The division also provides product support to other critical Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD), and national force protection and intelligence systems required by the nation to mobilize, deploy, support, and sustain operations
    AFLCMC/HNC is organized into 10 branches spread across multiple facilities
    This position will support the Defensive Cyber Systems (AFLCMC/HNC) program

    Responsibilities Duties includ e, but not limited to:

    • Knowledge of principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI , AFI 63-101/20-101
    • Knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force
    • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of acquisition programs
    • Knowledge of support activities that assist the program manager in assessing what programs are within schedule and cost baselines, be able to recommend viable solutions to problems, and the pursuit of alternative courses of action
    • Effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.)
    • Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment as well as formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule and performance objectives
    • Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports (i.e., DAES, MAR, etc.)
    • Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews
    • Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management

    Qualifications Minimum Required Qualifications:
    Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain an active Top Secret clearance Education: MA/MS and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 years must be in the DoD, OR


    • * BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, of which 5 year must be in the DoD, OR
    • 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in Job Descriptions, of which 8 year must be in the DoD.
    • Experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desired
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment meeting end users' requirement
    • Must be detail-oriented and have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
