    Description

    Position Purpose:
    To become the SME on Systems and Processes. Devise efficient systems and processes for continuous improvements.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec
    Works safely at all times
    Ensure the safe operation of teams through regular communications, work observations and modeling a "Safety, it's Your Life" mentality
    Effectively manages the Leadec scope of work (SOW)
    Effectively communicates necessary information and status updates to manager
    Incorporates "PDCA" (Plan, Do, Check, Act) mindset into regular routine
    Focuses on labor, equipment, and tools allocation, best practice guidelines, and continuous improvement
    Evaluate Group Leaders and Team Leaders and recommend/deliver training to improve performance
    Effectively communicates necessary information to management
    Management all required Leadec and customer reporting processes
    Actively attends all required meetings
    All other duties as assigned by Leadec Manager
    Communication-Effective verbal and written communication
    Customer Service Orientation- Satisfying customers
    Adaptability- Willingness to deal with unexpected challenges or circumstances
    Problem Solving- Defines complex problems and brings about viable solutions
    Leadership Serve as a responsible company representative

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    Ability to learn industry standards and best practices
    Ability to learn and embrace GMS Principles
    Strong leadership skills
    Labor Relations -Effectively administer UAW Contract
    Effective interpersonal communication skills
    Strong organizational and planning skills
    Ability to lead and coach / train others

    Position Requirements:
    Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering.
    Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions.
    Fluent use of English language/Reading/Writing/Speaking Required.
    Must be able to be licensed on equipment if applicable.

    Must be able to successfully pass all required safety related training courses, physicals, and maintain the ability to work in the position in a manner that reflects both safety specific mental and physical awareness and satisfactory performance.

    The employee is also required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate to high). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surface for 8+ hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
