Job Summary
The Life Science Engineer will maintain building systems in accordance with customer procedures.• Operate advanced building systems ensuring minimal downtime
• Read complex drawings diagrams schematics perform day-to-day operation maintenance repair of building site systems HVAC electrical lighting plumbing energy management water treatment hardware keying fire protection install fabricate construct troubleshoot repair or maintain complex mechanical electrical equipment receive work assignments plan generate work obtain necessary tools equipment materials complete assignments paperwork timely manner assist monitoring contractors inspecting work generating deficiency lists weekly water treatment testing review weekly water treatment reports deficiencies assist skilled employees completion mechanical work learn new skills provide proper care assigned equipment tools uniforms keep shop penthouse equipment rooms common areas clean organized safe follow inspection service procedures outlined preventative maintenance loss control programs coordinate conduct provide support day-to-day completion organization accuracy preventive maintenance loss control daily check BMS site energy monitoring platform confirm building running efficiently as possible accurately complete tenant requests repair work related records respective sites buildings required follow applicable government local authority requirements Orders Condition report deficiencies suggestions improvements take initiative correct as appropriate employ service procedures techniques established procedures maintain logs daily activities events required provide technical support assist training upgrading skills less experienced staff effectively communicate party parties status activity building operations conditions promptly report potential existing problems available various shifts fill other staff extended hours nights weekends holidays ensure adequate building coverage perform necessary repairs needed respond after hours emergencies fire flooding severe weather snow ice removal power outage clean-up activities on-call procedures requested critical situations promote maintain high standard operation properties promote establish positive relations tenants proactive communication routine follow-up high level customer service attends trainings classes further enhance knowledge where applicable proven ability respond situations urgent manner address situation resolution met willingness attend schooling obtain different licenses certifications required other duties assigned
