    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


    This job fully integrates an individual into the engineering culture by performing specific quality engineering assignments that are limited in scope, depth and degree of skill required.

    Work plans and decisions are usually reviewed by others.

    • Learns and uses quality planning tools and analysis to formulate/facilitate quality plans for new products within the product delivery, order fulfillment or customer support processes.
    • Learns and uses quality tools consistent with quality processes to enable the focus on prevention by identifying and performing activities to minimize risk. Investigates product and process quality related issues and recommends changes to control plans and/or prints.
    • Gathers and analyzes data pertinent to quality tools in the Enterprise Order Fulfillment Process (EOFP), Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) and/or Customer Support Process (CSP).
    • Performs quality audits, including supporting International Standards Organization (ISO) audits, and maintains quality manual.
    • Inputs and maintains information in factory databases and systems.
    • Monitors quality plan tracking system.
    • Assists in reviews and investigations of warranty claim information

    REQUIRED:

    • 1 year of work experience in any of the following roles:o Supplier Qualityo Supply Managemento Development or Manufacturing.
    • Excellent communicator with experience and knowledge in the quality field.
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent work experience.
    • Project management and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience in driving a closed loop corrective action process, including rigorous root cause analysis.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively facilitate, lead and manage small teams.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Applicant should have experience in one or more of the following competencies and their manufacturing processes, or demonstrated experience as a quality professional:o Hardware and fasteners (cap screws, pins, springs etc)o Painto Metal fabrication such as welding, forming, stamping laser cutting and assembly.o Castings, machining, or drivetrain components such as gears shafts or friction materials.
    o Hydraulic components such as hydraulic pumps, hoses, lines or fittingso PlasticsAdditional notes:
    Will need metatarsals for first day, business casual dress code. Some travel associated with this position (up to 10%). Person may drive a Deere owned vehicles inside facility after successfully completing training.
    Candidates should be comfortable in both office and shop floor environments.
