    JOB SUMMARY:

    Develop and implement Channel Marketing strategy for a prominent Big Box customer. Lead the retail channel marketing team and work cross functionally to drive designer loyalty to our brands & products. Partner with our retail customer to help them grow their business. Responsible for product line reviews, merchant-marketing relations, merchandising, events, customer level marketing & programs, enhancing the impact of our sales team via messaging and tools, and designer education & recognition.

    PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Maximize brand share at Home Depot by driving performance through designer engagement, showroom excellence and identifying and executing channel programs.
    • Lead the Customer Strategy team and drive employee development and engagement.
    • Align with sales and marketing leadership to set customer-specific strategy. Translate strategy into actionable plans, projects, initiatives, and programs.
    • Define, enhance, and manage customer touch points such as designer websites, POP, selling centers, co-op, display programs, email campaigns, selling tools etc.
    • Design and execute market research and data analytics to answer critical channel questions and make fact-based decisions.
    • Strategically partner with customers to expand their share in the category.
    • Develop, measure, and drive critical KPI's including channel revenue, designer and customer satisfaction, market share, and showroom impact.
    • Manage and leverage a budget.
    • Project manage channel programs.
    • Travel requirements are approximately 30%
    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in marketing and sales, preferably with product and/or category management experience.
    • Excellent people management and team building and leadership experience.
    • Superior oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent project management and budgeting skills with deadline orientation and focus.
    • Proficiency at developing integrated, multi-discipline marketing plans.
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
    • Master's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
    • Building products and or cabinetry experience.
    • Big box store experience (Lowes, Home Depot, Menards)
    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
    • Sitting for Extended Periods: The nature of the job involves sitting at a desk or workstation for extended periods while performing administrative tasks, using a computer, and engaging in various in-office activities.
    • Computer Use: Proficient use of a computer, including typing, mouse manipulation, and viewing a computer screen for extended periods is essential.
    • Manual Dexterity: Ability to use office equipment such as phones, photocopiers, fax machines, and printers. This may require fine motor skills and dexterity.
    • Lifting and Carrying: Occasional lifting and carrying of office supplies, documents, and other materials, typically not exceeding a certain weight limit (e.g., 20 pounds).
    • Mobility: Ability to move within the office environment to access filing cabinets, printers, and other office equipment.
    • Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders directly in person or via electronic communication.
    • Visual Acuity: Ability to read printed and electronic documents, as well as distinguish colors, for tasks such as proofreading and reviewing documents.
    • Multitasking: The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work effectively, which may require mental agility and adaptability.
