Description

This is a management and professional position that directs the engineering services for the City. Duties include coordinating and supervising planning, design, and construction of public/private municipal infrastructure. Coordinating with City Officials and directors concerning application of local, state, and federal regulations. Preparing annual budget request and written reports. Presentations to various boards or committees.


Requires:
Bachelor's degree

in Civil Engineering

Four years of engineering experience in a municipal or related work environment

Must be registered as a Professional Engineer in MN and the ability to maintain certification or able to obtain within 6 months

Must have a valid driver's license


Desired Qualifications:
Specialized training in related areas

Five years or more of related experience

Thorough knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and methods as applicable to a municipal setting
