    Job Description:

    As a Principal Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in our Data Science and Machine Learning (DSML) team, driving strategic projects from inception to implementation You will leverage your deep expertise in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis to solve complex challenges, enhance our product offerings, and deliver actionable insights that propel our business forward.

    This role requires a blend of technical mastery, strategic thinking, and leadership to foster innovation and deliver results

    What you'll do:
    Lead and execute end-to-end data science projects, including problem definition, data exploration, model development, and deployment.
    Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define project objectives, align on priorities, and ensure successful outcomes.

    Develop and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to drive product innovation, improve user experience, and optimize business processes.

    Coach, mentor and develop data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

    Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and machine learning; advocate for their adoption within the team and organization.

    Communicate complex data-driven insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations and presentations.
    Drive the development of scalable data science frameworks and tools to enhance team productivity and impact.
    Develop, promote, and support Data Science principles and best practices.


    Experience you'll bring:
    The ability to see the big picture across multiple projects within the DS/ML workspace.
    You have coached and mentored peers while leading out on best practices.
    Partnership with technical leadership to provide recommendations on solution design and architecture.


    Requirements:
    Advanced degree (Ph.
    D. or M.S.) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.

    7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading and delivering impactful data science projects.

    Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and their practical applications.

    Proficiency in programming languages and tools commonly used in data science (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex issues requiring innovative solutions.
    Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor team members and collaborate across functions.
    Diplomatic and collaborative leadership style, leading through seeking context and influence.
    Experience in deploying machine learning models in production environments and familiarity with MLOps principles is a plus.
