Job summary

Rouzer Group is an outsourced sales and marketing company representing only market-leading manufacturers in the electrical construction, tool, and utility industries. We are looking to expand our Inside Sales - Lighting team. The ideal candidate will have experience in lighting layout and AGI, be resourceful, and able to work with limited supervision. Excellent oral and written communication skills are also required. The starting salary is negotiated and the annual bonus opportunity is based on individual and company performance. The job offers a range of benefits including 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Profitably sell lighting lines to targeted distributors to increase Rouzer Group's market share across our territory.
  • Provide pricing and availability in a respectful and timely manner to distributors.
  • Provide lighting layouts upon request.
  • Effectively communicate with management the status of sales, opportunities, and distributor partners' activity levels.
  • Build relationships with distributors to understand their business model/buying patterns and attempt to grow Rouzer Group's share of inventory spend.
  • Work closely with Rouzer team to obtain significant project business.
  • Maximize profits of Rouzer Groups represented manufacturers.
  • Maintain high awareness of the competitive environment, electrical marketing trends, and current indoor and outdoor lighting products.
  • Represent Rouzer Group in a professional and ethical manner.

Qualifications

  • Lighting layout and AGI experience preferred.
  • Resourceful, and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills, especially Word and Excel.
  • Proficient organizational skills, attention to detail, multi-task and deadline orientation.
  • Persistent, straightforward, and place emphasis on product value.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively with a team.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military/job experience.
