- Assessment & Evaluation: Conducting and interpreting thorough speech and language evaluations using both formal and informal assessment tools.
- IEP Management: Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Direct Therapy: Providing evidence-based individual and group therapy sessions to address articulation, phonology, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication/pragmatics.
- Data Collection: Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress toward IEP goals.
- Collaboration: Consulting and collaborating effectively with general education teachers, special education staff, parents, and other related service providers.
- Meeting Participation: Attending and contributing to IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and team meetings.
- Transition Planning: Supporting students in transitional planning as needed.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current and valid SLP License or ability to obtain one prior to the start date
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, OR Clinical Fellow (CF) candidates will be considered with appropriate supervision available.
- Experience working with school-aged children and familiarity with the IEP process.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and fingerprinting.

Greenway Public Schools is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, long-term substitute position. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative Special Education team and make a meaningful impact on student communication skills for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. The assignment is expected to run from March 1, 2026, through May 29, 2026.
