Job Summary
Our group is seeking a senior level mainframe engineer/developer to provide expert knowledge in mainframe technologies for software development. Emphasis of the position is be a senior level contributor in several key technologies The candidate is expected to perform tasks such as; analysis of current and future application and infrastructure requirements, coding and testing of mainframe software components, vendor software evaluation, design consulting and significant performance engineering and testing.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate must be able to develop scalable and creative technical solutions in close collaboration with application and architecture teams.
- Working with a geographically dispersed team, this individual will complete software development projects by the agreed upon target date with the highest level of quality, using appropriate development methodologies.
