    summary We are looking for a skilled CNC LATHE PROGRAMMER for our facility in Mount Clemons, Mi.

    This a JOB SHOP, type of work and the quantities ran range from 2 pcs to a few thousand pcs Position:
    CNC Programmer Location : 16 mile &

    Groesbeck Pay:
    $ Negotiable) 1st Shift: 7am-4:30 M-F Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprintsPerform off-setsChange cutting toolsProgram G&M Codes (Fanuc Controller)

    Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordinglyPerform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specificationsAdjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining qualityConsider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordinglyTroubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arisePerform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpeningTrain new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs required-skills: 2+ YEARS OF CNC LATHE PROGRAMMING/SET UP Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required Must have strong attention to detail Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprints Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential Should have a positive and professional attitude Available to work weekends and overtime Capable of standing for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for short periods of time required-experience: LATHE PROGRAMMER
