    Requirements

    SUMMARY:

    Highway Products Inc. and Pavati Boats seek a qualified Powder Coat Technician to join our growing team In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, application, and finishing of parts using our powder coating system. You will ensure high-quality results while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare parts for powder coating, including sanding, degreasing, masking, and hanging on racks.
    • Apply powder coating to various parts and sizes according to customer specifications and established procedures.
    • Operate powder coating equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Conduct quality control inspections throughout the process, identifying and correcting defects.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
    • Assist with equipment cleaning and troubleshooting as needed.
    • May be required to assist with packaging and shipping finished products.
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in powder coating or a related field (preferred). WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
    • Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques for powder coating.
    • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
    • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
