HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Be part of a team, working closely with product development, UX designers, sales, and other engineers

Combine an entrepreneurial mindset and technical skills to deliver value as an engineer

Write high quality, well-tested, and scalable code

Evaluate the short- and long-term implications of every implementation decision

Grow professionally and learn from other accomplished software engineers through pair coding while helping your peers to do the same

Collaborate on critical system architecture decisions

Review and provide feedback on other developers' code and design

Evaluate modern technologies, prototype innovative approaches to problems and make the business case for change

Use infrastructure-as-code to build and deploy cloud-native services in AWS


REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering

3+ years of recent experience implementing Data Pipelines, ELT / ETL

Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses, preferably Snowflake

Experience with CI/CD for Data Warehouses

Strong fundamentals in database design concepts and SQL

Strong scripting / coding skills in a professional setting, preferably in Python

Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms

Excellent object oriented or functional analysis and design skills

Proven communication and interpersonal ability

Experience building client- and consumer-facing products is a plus, but far from required

Experience in Data Science concepts, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence is a plus
