- General practice of medicine for adults and geriatric patients and of the use of consultative resources in the practice of medicine.
- Basic understanding of the major psychiatric diagnoses and how the diagnosis may interrelate with medical symptoms and illnesses.
- Basic understanding of the use of the common psychotherapeutic agents and of the statutory requirements relating to the practice of medicine.
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with people.

- Graduate education up through and including a residency in family practice, internal medicine, or another general medical specialty.

Physicians at MSH provide direct patient care and collaborate as a provider and treatment team member in the provision of unit specific treatment health care for psychiatric patients.

Additional Information
This position may be eligible for a statutory 4% an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2024.
