    Job Title: Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

    Location: Pompano Beach, FL

    Overview:

    We're seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team in Pompano Beach, FL. This role will primarily focus on payroll management, overseeing financial transactions, and providing support to our Accounting and Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in bookkeeping software.

    Salary: $40,000-$50,000/yr

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage payroll processes, including collecting timesheets, verifying accuracy, and processing payments.
    • Collaborate with the Accounting and Finance manager to collect and analyze financial reports.
    • Record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales revenue, expenses, and debt payoff.
    • Perform journal entries and reconcile entries into the accounting system.
    • Manage bank feeds and ensure alignment with financial records.
    • Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
    • Assist in creating client invoices and processing payments.
    • Prepare financial reports and statements for different accounting periods.
    • Support tax filing processes by assisting accountants as needed.
    • Organize and streamline accounting tasks using various software and tools.

    Required Skills and Knowledge:

    • Solid understanding of accounting principles and local laws.
    • Proficiency in payroll management, including timesheet collection, verification, and payment processing.
    • Knowledge of accounting best practices.
    • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
    • Ability to produce work with a high level of accuracy.
    • Professionalism and strong organizational skills.
    • Associates degree in Accounting or related field, or at least one year of relevant experience.
    • Familiarity with CRM, SAP, AX, or similar applications.
