Job Summary
The Undergraduate Admissions Counselor identifies recruits and contributes to increasing admitted enrolled students.This position is located in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas Both levels The Undergraduate Admissions Counselor I/II identifies recruits new freshmen transfer students to UTSA assists with recruiting plans retention programs UTSA admissions events both on off campus Core Responsibilities Travels high schools colleges learning institutions recruit prospective students Manages assigned geographic territory including high schools some colleges areas across state Responsible counseling outreach students parents admission requirements procedures works directly resolve extenuating circumstances complaints appeals Coordinates high school counselors facilitate application process Manages data prospects applicants recruitment territories customer relations management CRM system enhance student relationships communication timelines connect students university Implement recruitment activities application workshops information sessions other projects Assists recruiting outreach programs such as UTSA Top Scholar Honors College special retention programs Cultivates working relationships university colleges departments counselors advisors enhance customer service satisfaction establish community contacts Represents Undergraduate Admissions Recruitment public-speaking capacity campus maintain records activities CRM Conducts Financial Aid Information Outreach presentations Assists committee review reading process Maintains knowledge university information organization opportunities policies Reports statistical data programs projects Salesforce cases travel activities Level II Only Serves mentor new admissions counselors coordinates travel schedules assignments assists recruiting plans retention programs UTSA admissions events occasional training Represent Senior Counselor Assistant Director Associate Director campus activities when needed Required Qualifications Bachelor degree accredited institution Valid driver license date hire This position requires ability maintain security integrity UTSA infrastructure Preferred One year higher education recruitment experience experience customer relation management system CRM
