- Perform testing to support feasibility studies and formal product design verification testing as well as test equipment/fixture validation and test method validation.
- Setup and operate a variety of electromechanical laboratory test equipment and perform routine testing (flow, pressure, leak, tensile, thermal, etc) using written test procedures.
- Support engineering activities such as assembly, modification, and testing under the supervision of Engineers.
- Perform work using drawings, diagrams, written and verbal instructions, layouts, or defined plans to perform troubleshooting and testing.
- Build prototypes and prepare feasibility test units, samples, and/or chemical solutions.
- Collect and document test data.
- May analyze test results to ensure conformity to specifications, making recommendations, and developing reports for Engineering review.
- May develop or revise test methods.
- May write equipment validation documents.
- Identify opportunities to modify basic test equipment, tools, fixtures to improve existing test methods and lab processes.
- Order and maintain lab supplies and equipment.
- Maintain compliance with applicable GMP standards, ISO Standards, local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)'s, and company policies.
- Must be able to work in a team environment, as well as work independently with minimum supervision.
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter who is driven to achieve quality and value-added results with appropriate direction.

- Able to follow normally established procedures on routine work.
- Able to identify problems and relevant issues in straightforward situations.
- Proven success adhering to project schedules and managing small projects.
- Good computer skills, including usage of MS Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data and accurately document and record results.
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices supporting a medical device environment.
- Prefer the ability to troubleshoot benchtop testing equipment.
- Prior R&D lab and/or medical device experience preferred.
- Prior experience working in a lab environment with flow, pressure, leak, tensile, thermal, and other test instrumentation is highly desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-year Associate's degree preferred.
- 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other technical fields would be amazing.
- 0-2 years experience.
- Prefer prior experience in medical devices or similar regulated industry.
- Prior experience in a product testing environment, material testing and evaluation, and/or process development would be amazing.
