The Slitter/Rewind Operator role involves operating CEI slitter rewinder and Arpeco rewinder, packaging, and inspecting finished products before dispatching to inventory or shipping.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Adhere to OSHA, FSSC, GMP, and company safety protocols.
Splice rolls according to customer job ticket requirements.
Operate tabletop rewind equipment when necessary.
Inspect print quality for defects.
Pack products as per customer specifications.
Basic maintenance using hand tools.
Record discrepancies and downtime.
Maintain cleanliness following housekeeping standards.
Engage in continuous improvement activities.
Assist in training new team members.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 1+ year in a fast-paced environment, ideally in manufacturing.
Skills: Quality control, active listening, critical thinking, time management.
Abilities: Near vision, color discrimination, lifting up to 50 pounds.
Overtime and Saturday availability post-training.
