    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including clinics, urgent care centers, and operating rooms.

    Responsibilities:

    • Function as first or second assist in the operating room, including performing surgical exposure, dissections, and wound closure.
    • Triage patient calls, evaluate patient problems, and respond to emergencies, including use of CPR.
    • Prepare patients for surgery, conduct physical exams, take medical histories, interpret images, and provide patient evaluation and care.
    • Consult with physicians as needed and refer complex cases to specialists.
    • Order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, administer injections, and perform dressing removal and fracture management.
    • Counsel patients and families on preventive healthcare, including pre- and post-operative education.

    Requirements:

    • Masters of Physician Assistant degree (required)
    • Previous experience in an orthopedic setting (preferred)
    • Licensed as a PA in the state of Minnesota (preferred)
    • Certification as a Physician Assistant (required)
    • Basic Life Support certification (required)
