    Description
    Henry Ford Hospital -Jackson is currently seeking an Otolaryngologist to join our team.

    The ENT practice in Jackson is a well-established and very reputable , it is the only Otolaryngology Practice in Jackson County.

    The hospital is located directly across the street of the outpatient clinic, and in walking distance from the outpatient surgical center, making it very convenient to providers.


    Call Coverage:
    The local Medical Staff bylaws indicate a 1:3 call for ENT


    OR Access:

    We currently have 3 days of dedicated procedure time for ENT at the ambulatory surgery center and day at the main OR.

    Clinic: 9 exam rooms, 2 of which are procedure rooms, 3:1 physician to exam room ratio, 2:1 PA room ratio.

    Collectively, the ENT provider team serves general ENT needs for the Jackson community and surrounding area; Team currently consists of a Part-Time Physician, specializing in general otolaryngology and rhinology.

    Full Time Physician, specializing in head and neck oncology. Physician and Part Time Physician Assistant, specializing in pre- and post-operative ENT care with years of experience in ENT. And a full-time Physician Assistant, specializing in clinic/procedural care.

    Clinic Support/Skill Mix:
    RN Lead (1), Medical Assistants (4), Surgery Coordinators (2), Customer Service Representatives (Front office support) (2), Audiologists (5), Audiology Tech

    Equipment:
    Our local ENT services had an exciting investment last year.

    We acquired over half a million in capital dollars that was used to purchase a Ziess microscope, Medtronic navigation system and microdebrider console, Pentax video tower and other additional instrumentation for use in our clinics and procedure centers.

    Lastly, we integrated a disposable scoping option for both clinic and procedure center use, in addition to our flexible and hard scope operational processes within the clinic.


    Leadership:

    We have an RN Lead, dedicated to the ENT practice to provide on-site leadership and clinical oversite for staff.

    Additionally, we have an RN Supervisor who designs clinic schedules for throughput, coordinates staffing needs, with also supporting with daily operations.

    We have a dyad, senior leadership team that takes part in supporting a collection of our surgical specialties, including our ENT practice.

    This ENT is supported by a full team that consists of front desk support, RN Manager, Business Manager, Administrative Director, and a Medical Director.


    Level II Trauma Center Designation:
    We do have a well establish Trauma Center at Henry Ford Hospital - Jackson. Another perk is the Hearing Center, along with audiologist and audio booths are attached to the practice site.
    About our facility in Jackson, our emergency room treats 68,000+ visits annually.

    We have a Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, CUB (Cardiac Universal Bed), Radiation Oncology, Hematology/Oncology, Full-Service line of Fellowship Trained Ortho (total joint, hand/wrist, foot/ankle, sports, podiatry and Traumatologist), Neurology and Neurosurgery Service Lines, OT/PT, Certified Stroke Center, Interventional Radiology, inpatient and outpatient Physiatry (PM&R), Plastic Surgeons and much more.

    We are not your average community hospital.

    We are the hidden gem of Jackson and the only hospital in Jackson County, with the next smaller hospital being 20 miles north (Chelsea).

    We became a certified Trauma center in Spring 2017, and are the only Level II trauma within a 40-mile radius between 94 and 127 HWY.

    Partnered with Henry Ford Health Systems (HFHS -Detroit Area) in April 2016. Henry Ford Hospital -Jackson, about 77 miles SW of Detroit, entered our 100 th year May 2018. This partnership with HFHS is very exciting for Henry Ford Hospital - Jackson and our community.

    The partnership with Henry Ford Health System has allowed support the construction of an innovation center (adding State of Art Simulation & Research Labs / May 2017), a Surgical Patient Tower that added 66 private rooms -Fall 2018 and implemented EPIC house wide (INPT & OUTPT) in 2016.
