    Job title: CNA/Certified Medication Aide - 2nd Shift 7PM-7AM (ONLY)

    Description

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medication Aide to join our care team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, including administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting independence.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and ordered by licensed nurses.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Encourage residents to maintain their independence by assisting with tasks such as eating, toileting, and transferring.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a positive and supportive environment.

    • Requirements:

    • Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in good standing.
    • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively with residents, family, and staff, and perform simple arithmetic.
    • Excellent assessment skills and ability to document care given.
    • Ability to assist with the transferring of residents weighing 50 pounds or more using a transfer belt, mechanical lift, or with the assistance of others.

      • Working Conditions:

      • Must be able to stoop, bend, stretch, and squat to access files and various documentation.
      • Must be able to lift to 20 pounds frequently.
