Sanford Research, Sanford Children's Hospital and Sanford USD School of Medicine are seeking a full-time Pediatric Endocrinologist to join a dynamic team running an active portfolio of clinical trials in type 1 diabetes.

Our organization has made significant commitments to improving type 1 diabetes care through our established clinical research program. Current efforts focus on general population screening for type 1 diabetes integrated into routine pediatric care in every clinic. Additional intervention trials span from pre-symptomatic to long-established type 1 diabetes.

• We have three physicians and one nurse practitioner working closely with an interdisciplinary team including in-clinic social workers, dietitians, diabetes educators, behavioral health specialists and genetic counselors to provide ongoing support for children with diabetes and other endocrine disorders.

Over seventy sub-specialists share patient care responsibilities along with hospitalists who also educate pediatric residents about various aspects of their work
