    Position Overview

    The successful candidate will join the Business Processes team, focusing on the establishment, upkeep, and management of a diverse range of contracts, including processing, purchasing, sales, transportation, storage, and gathering. This role requires extensive collaboration with accounting, contract management, business development, clients, and field operations to effectively manage customer contracts and facilitate billing processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Input contractual agreements and tariffs into proprietary systems.
    • Ensure contracts are maintained in accordance with agreed terms.
    • Assist internal stakeholders with inquiries and issues related to contract invoices.
    • Provide support to the Segment Accounting Group.
    • Identify and resolve issues when contract data fails to interface with downstream systems, coordinating with IT and relevant parties.
    Job level will be determined based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.

    Position Requirements

    Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or General Business, or equivalent experience.
    Competencies, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with both internal and external customers.
    • Ability to deliver accurate results with a sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Capability to comprehend and interpret business contracts through professional or educational experience.
    • Willingness to learn industry-specific software applications.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Problem-solving skills with a focus on finding solutions.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while handling interruptions.
    • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
    • Flexibility to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism.
    • Understanding of petroleum pipelines and terminals is advantageous.
    • Familiarity with the Merlin billing system is a plus.
