Cantonment, FL: School-based Speech-Language Pathologist - Century, United States - Soliant

Description

Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists and Clinical Fellows who want to work with education communities in the Florida panhandle Soliant has partnered with several schools right on the Alabama-Florida border, and is seeking applicants for the next school year.

We seek candidates who:

Caseload outlines:

• Typical caseload serves 60-65 students
• All SLPs will serve a mix of General Education students, and 1-2 self-contained classrooms of students who need speech services
• Elementary school SLPs will also be responsible for 1-2 preschool Special Education classrooms
• Details on specific building assignments are pending, as enrollment numbers and referrals between grade levels are being finalized

Duties include:

• Providing speech and/or language therapy to students identified with communication disorders.
• Maintaining accurate service records of students on caseload
• Evaluating students with suspected communication disorders; making recommendations for speech and language services as needed
• Providing comprehensive written report of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within the standards established by state guidelines
• Developing speech and language goals in Individualized Education Programs
• Developing integrated goals with other education staff for students with multiple or other disabilities.
• Consulting with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development, or other areas of curriculum related to speech and language.

Requirements:

• Florida SLP license
