    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery travel assignment requiring a NC or compact RN license and fetal monitoring certification.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
    • Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
    • 13-week contract assignment
    • Caring for laboring and postpartum women and newborns
    • Responsible for comprehensive care of women and newborns during labor and delivery
    • Function as part of a multidisciplinary team throughout the childbirth process
    • Must provide copies of certifications and nursing license verification for consideration

    Requirements

    • Active NC or compact RN license required
    • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required
    • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Intermediate or advanced AWHONN fetal monitoring (or NCC-EFM) certification required
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced (9th Edition) certification required
    • Must provide a US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
    • Professional reference requirement: One reference unless residing in Florida or Missouri, where two are needed
    • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
    • No local candidates accepted; must reside outside a 50-mile radius
