    At Meraki, we aim to simplify, speed up, and enhance IT processes.     The Meraki Network Service crew is revolutionizing networking and security delivery through a cloud-first strategy and simplicity. We are a small, dynamic team dedicated to crafting unique products that seamlessly blend advanced features with simplicity. Our engineers are proficient in various technologies and eager to explore different languages, platforms, and Meraki stack levels.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Design user-friendly workflows to tackle global IT challenges in collaboration with engineers, UX designers, and product managers.
    • Address scaling issues to accommodate a growing user base and ensure optimal performance and uptime.
    • Create tools enabling customers to manage networking devices globally.
    • Drive innovation in networking and security, focusing on simplification, performance, and flexibility.
    • Offer guidance on architectural decisions and advocate for engineering best practices.
    • Foster unity, inspire, and motivate team members to excel.

    YOU ARE AN IDEAL CANDIDATE IF YOU:

    • Have over 3 years of experience in professional code development and testing.
    • Possess 2+ years of expertise in web backend technologies like Ruby on Rails or Go.
    • Demonstrated skill in building interactive web UIs with React (including Redux).
    • Take full ownership of projects from inception to launch, exhibiting strong coding capabilities, teamwork, and leadership.
    • Excel in problem-solving and innovation across the technology spectrum while embracing complex challenges.
    • Exhibit a genuine passion for work, inspiring and energizing colleagues with dedication and enthusiasm.

    BONUS POINTS FOR:

    • Specific proficiency in technologies such as Ruby on Rails, React, and Postgres, aligning with the team's tech stack.
    • Previous experience or willingness to engage in proof-of-concept activities and adapt to agile development methods.
    • Knowledge of network protocols in local and wide-area networks, showcasing domain understanding and problem-solving skills.
