    Job Title: Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg

    A travel nursing job opportunity with AMN Healthcare Nursing is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (Med Surg).

    • Shift: 12 hours, nights, 36 hours per week

    About the Job:

    The selected candidate will work on a med-surg unit at a hospital in LUMBERTON, US. The position requires experience and certification as an RN. Key responsibilities include providing patient care and managing medical conditions.

    • Caring for patients with various medical needs including CHF, Diabetes, Dialysis COPD ETOH IVDA General Surgical Patients Post-operative Observation Patient Ratios of 1-5 to 6 nurses per shift are expected however this may vary depending on staffing levels required certifications BLS CPI or MOAB ACLS skills requirements IV insertion trach management chest tube management NG Tube placement and management feeding tubes foley placement and management wound care dressing changes central line management cardiac rhythm interpretation Supportive staff includes CNA Ratio of Nurses Assistants Unit Secretary TeleTech Charge nurse Hospitalist RT Phlebotomy Charting System/Equipment EPIC BD Alaris IV Pumps Omnicell Orientation On-unit orientation Floating To any med-surg unit Scheduling Every other weekend Shift Times Day Night Self scheduling Requests up to seven days off Holidays assigned by rotation Other Notes Scrubs ceiling blue Required Qualifications SSN DOB References MS Reference within year Preferred previous travel experiences Job Benefits Competitive pay rates Free private housing Medical dental vision Benefits like Accident short-term Disability Life Insurance Continuing Education Refer friend earn extra cash About the Company Recognized leader innovative force helping healthcare organizations provide quality patient care continually evolving Affordable achievable
