Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT/X-ray Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency for an evening shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Level IV Trauma, short-term acute care hospital
• CT and X-ray unit with expected patient ratios of 3 to 20 patients per shift
• Primary schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to midnight (evening shifts)
• On-call required one night a week from midnight to 7 AM, with occasional weekend coverage if needed
• Rotating weekend shifts may be required (7 AM-3:30 PM or 3:30 PM-midnight) and weekend call
• Epic EMR experience required
• Main priority is weekday evening shift with some flexibility needed for weekend and call coverage
• All travelers may be expected to float to other facilities within the same state if necessary
• Former perm staff must wait 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) is allowed, with limited exceptions approved by account managers
• Free parking available in unrestricted spaces

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT/X-ray Technologist
• Current applicable state license required if applicable
• Required certifications must be current and available for consideration
• Experience with Level IV Trauma care preferred
• Supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
