    RSI Leasing, recently acquired by Trinity Industries Inc, is currently hiring a Terminal Operator in our Buffalo, NY Terminal. The Terminal Operator
    • Loader primary responsibility is to safely and timely unload rail cars to trucks and storage, within the terminal facility.
    The Terminal Operator will understand, and follow, operating procedures and policies.


    Responsibilities / Job Duties:
    The Terminal Operator is responsible for the daily unloading of materials.
    Must have the ability to understand and follow operating procedures and policies.
    Ability to operate rail car loading systems.
    Required to perform work safely and productively.
    Willingness to be cross trained on all functions at the terminal facility.
    Must possess a strong work ethic and the willingness to follow procedures. Be able to keep the work area clean and organized.
    Must not be afraid to ask questions. Needs to be able to accurately fill out all necessary paperwork.

    Enforce all safety policies and procedures with other employees and visitors.
    The ability to perform general maintenance on equipment, as necessary.


    Requirements/Qualifications:
    Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
    Perform basic math skills.
    Light computer skills would be a plus.
    Possess a valid Driver's License.

    Capable of learning how to operate and maintain rail car and trans-loading equipment (hoses, portable conveyors, small to medium-sized equipment, etc.).Must have a willingness to learn new skills and be teachable.


    Education/Experience:
    High School Diploma or GED equivalentMinimum 1-2 years of experience handling bulk material.
    Experience driving and operating an articulated front loader.
    Willing to work with liquid hazardous & dry bulk materials, as needed.
    Must have a willingness to learn new skills and be teachable.
    Understanding of Safety procedures and practices - Safety is #1 priority

    Physical Requirements:
    Physically able to climb up and down rail cars and ladders, safely for an extended period.
    Work outside in ALL weather conditions (excessive heat, snow, rain, sub-freezing temps, etc).Lift and carry fifty (50) pounds consistently.
    Walk one (1) to two (2) miles per shift.
