    Guided by the values of the company, the Seed Partnership Communications Lead (SPCL) is responsible for marketing campaigns as well as content generation, event coordination and our seed partners management. By allocating marketing resources efficiently to influence the customer journey, the SPCL helps maximize sales and market penetration in targeted segments. The SPCL is also responsible for conducting promotional activities in consultation and alignment with Sales and Strategy.

    This position can be remote if located near or in rice or sorghum growing regions.

    Fundamental Areas of Focus:

    Communications Lead for Seed Partners Marketing Efforts

    • Manage multiple third-party relationships to facilitate collaborative work environment to integrate unique company cultures and marketing approaches into a shared effort between seed partner teams and the ADAMA team that results in aligned external marketing and messaging efforts
    • Act as communications liaison for partner company's communications team
    • Develop annual strategic marketing plan to support goals and objectives
    • Conduct annual marketing planning meeting with seed partners
    • Collaborate with account team on specific presentations needed for meetings, relating to systems related to the seed partners and ADAMA-branded seed products
    • In coordination with seed partners' marketing teams, develop, execute and measure system-specific marketing campaigns based on the growing season.

    Efforts include:

    • Definition of campaign strategy and communications channels
    • Definition of tactics, timeline & budget
    • Management of resources to execute plan
    • Execute communications tactics for specific systems including but not limited to email blasts, social, collateral and program needs
    • Define and support digital campaigns to support system or crop-specific needs

    Content Generation for Seed Partners Marketing Efforts

    Create and manage system/product/crop content for the following:

    • website or landing pages by system
    • sponsored or ad content (to support paid media plan)
    • newsletters
    • presentations
    • email blasts
    • sales enablement (grower/crop/system guides, direct mail, sell sheets, etc.)
    • Social posts
    • Capture grower, consultant and/or retail customer testimonials

    Event Coordination for Seed Partners Marketing Efforts

    Coordinate needs to support seed partner-related events, field days, conferences and trade shows including:

    • Graphics (booth backdrop, signage)
    • Collateral
    • Promotional efforts/giveaways

    Lead efforts around:

    • Invites
    • Role assignments
    • Talking points
    • Schedule
    • Team travel plans
    • Liaison with seed partner companies on joint/shared events
    • Manage registration and budget associated with event
    • Event point-of-contact

    Other Responsibilities for Seed Partners Marketing Efforts

    • Based on approved communications plans, develop & manage budget on monthly basis including invoice reconciliation and quarterly true-up
    • Partner with agency resource, assigning project work based on budget allocations, providing creative briefs, leading input and review sessions for project work
    • Review competitors, identify and leverage changing in-season opportunities, and provide insights on how to further differentiate ADAMA
    • Execute other marketing tactics as assigned by Strategic Communications Manager

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors' degree with at least ten to fifteen years of marketing and agronomy experience required
    • Overall knowledge of major row crops and U.S. agriculture industry – specific knowledge of rice and sorghum preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Working knowledge of Acrobat Pro
    • Familiarity with Mac OS & Adobe Creative Cloud applications preferred
    • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, SurveyMonkey preferred
    • Must be willing and able to travel up to 35% of the time
