- Offer daily operational support for Linux operating systems and applications like RedHat, CentOS, and Ubuntu
- Maintain system integrity and security through continuous monitoring activities
- Analyze and remediate incidents related to application and operating system performance
- Develop and uphold standards and procedures for applications within a complex computing infrastructure
- Utilize scripting and system automation tools efficiently
- Collaborate with developers and assess vendor products to meet their requirements
- Investigate incidents to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions
- Active US Security clearance of Top Secret level with the ability to obtain TS/SCI and poly
- Minimum 5 years of experience in configuring, designing, and maintaining Linux servers (Redhat and/or Centos)
- Experience with virtualization environments like VMWare ESXi and vCenter Server
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation tools including Ansible and/or Puppet
- At least 5 years of experience in standard development tools such as Git, Gitlab, Github, Atlassian Jira, and Confluence
- Familiarity with modern software languages and command line interface
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python and Bash
- Willingness to travel to work sites in CONUS & OCONUS half of the time
- Linux System Administrator Certification
- Certifications in IT Security (CISSP, GIAC, Security+)
- Experience in host clustering with High Availability, Distributed Resource Scheduler, and replication
- Understanding of network engineering fundamentals and network design
- Experience in managing environments on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Active Top Secret security Clearance or higher to TS/SCI and poly
