- Manage multiple storefront and curtain wall projects concurrently, from pre-construction to closeout.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Review and fully understand shop drawings, architectural, and structural drawings.
- Provide oversight and guidance to project teams to ensure compliance with contract documents, including drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Conduct extrusion take-offs and manage material procurement for projects.
- Coordinate with structural engineers and other trades to ensure seamless integration of glazing systems with the structure and other building components.
- Oversee the installation of aluminum and glass doors, including hardware, ensuring proper fit, function, and aesthetic quality.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and progress, identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that may arise.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed according to project plans and specifications.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any potential risks or delays.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in storefront and curtain wall project management within the commercial glazing industry.
- Extensive experience with stick-built systems, including storefront and curtain wall installations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting shop drawings, architectural, and structural drawings.
- Strong understanding of contract document requirements, including contracts, drawings, and specifications.
- Knowledge of extrusion take-offs and material procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to completion.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industry best practices, building codes, and safety regulations.
